What is 'SMART Start-up'?
The SMART Start-Up programme consists of 4 start-up modules which will cover some of the key aspects of starting a business. The programme will help you develop your idea further, get the answers to essential start-up questions and inspire your creativity.
We have built the content around the main areas of starting-up which the hundreds of entrepreneurs we have worked with have identified as most difficult such as idea development, market research, funding finance and marketing.
Who is 'SMART' for?
Our SMART Start-up Programme has been designed to support individuals who are ready to take the first step towards self-employment as either a route back to paid work, or to generate additional income to supplement part-time hours. The programme can also help individuals to begin preparing for NEA and develop their draft Business Plan.
To be eligible for the SMART Start-Up Programme you should have:
• No previous self-employment experience
• A basic business idea
• An active email address and access to the internet
